I have always had very good service from this company. I own a small business and have two or three company trucks at any given time. I have used auto serve exclusively for those vehicles and for my personal cars for the past five years. One exceptional experience was when I took an older Colorado pick up in for a new engine. There was a known factory defect, and serveral technical service bulletin's. Chevy even extended the engine warranty. My engine problem started just after the extended warranty expired. I thought I was screwed and just went to auto serve to have the work done. Sean, the owner, and his lead techician recognized that this had been under that extended warranty, and Sean thought it was unfair of Chevy to exclude it. He went to bat for me and spent several hours at serveral different times on the phone with Chevrolet. That boy is tenacious, wore GM down, and got my work done at a dealership at no cost to me. He spent his time, and got paid nothing for it, and the work was done in another business. Saved me several thousand dollars.Auto Serve has earned my loyalty for life.

AutoServ is a great place to take your car, whether you need an oil change or major work. A friendly staff who will not overcharge you for menial work. They are very accommodating and good to the customer and the car. I have taken both an older used car and a new car to this shop, and the work is always well done and quick. I'll take my car to AutoServ every time there is a problem, or just for routine maintenance. Consider doing the same!

I highly recommend AutoServ. I have been taking my vehicles there for 10 years and have always received excellent service at a fair price. The only time I had to take a vehicle back was when a faulty sensor was installed (not their fault); when I told them they immediately ordered another part, made room in the schedule, and put the new part in at no charge. On a side note, there is almost no employee turnover. That's a good sign on how they treat their employees. I always get service with a smile!

Very happy to help their customers. Friendly, thorough and very reasonably priced. Thank you for your attention to detail.

These guys were way helpful and my inspection and oil change was fast, cheap and totally painless. And I'm a 21 year old girl, and I know that it's easy to take advantage of people that don't know anything about cars. But they were completely fair with me I would recommend them!

I own 7 vehicles. All of them need yearly maintenance. The fellas at Autoserv take care of each issue in a timely and professional manner. Consistently, time after time, the front desk, owner and staff provide great customer service. Keep in mind, I respect their time and I budget my life to have a vehicle our of commission for a day or more and they work with my schedule. I cant say enough good things about these guys.

My son is in Harpers Ferry for the summer with the Park Service, and called about a problem with the car. Seceral people recommended Autoserv. Not being from the area we had to go with that. I called and spoke to DJ and explained my dilemma. Needless to say everything went well. Great service and we didn't get ripped off which was my biggest fear. Thank you

Update: It's been three years since I wrote this, and it's all still true. I go to AutoServ for everything I can't handle on my own, everything from a simple state inspection to having an entire engine replaced in a Yukon. They have consistently been honest and fair with me all these years, and have never once given me a reason to complain. Plus, as it happens, they're pretty darn good mechanics, too. Original: There are a surprising number of good, honest mechanic shops in and around Charles Town. AutoServ is one of my personal favorites. I've been going there for years for all kinds of work, and they've always been good to me. They're friendly, honest, they do good work, and they're fast. Great place to deal with if you need a mechanic. Today I dropped off my Jeep with them saying "I know it needs brake work, I just have no idea what kind - let me know" and they called to tell me all they had to do was clean and adjust the rears. They could have sold me anything they wanted and I wouldn't have known any better, but they don't do that. Good guys.
